The situation

The European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Congress brings together a passionate international community of veterinary professionals to learn, connect and advance emergency and critical care.

For its 2026 event in Edinburgh, EVECC wanted to increase registrations while ensuring its communications captured the energy, expertise and shared sense of purpose that made the congress special.

The challenge

The challenge was to communicate more than an event schedule.

Veterinary professionals needed to understand the practical value of attending, but they also needed to feel the strength of the community behind the congress: people facing similar challenges, sharing knowledge and working together to improve animal care.

The campaign needed to turn professional interest into genuine excitement and belonging.

What we did

We developed and delivered an email-led campaign that brought the congress experience to life through its speakers, learning opportunities and professional community.

During the event, we captured interviews and stories from speakers, veterinary professionals and members of the wider community. This created authentic content that reflected the expertise in the room while also showing the warmth, connection and shared passion surrounding the event.

The impact

The campaign helped EVECC achieve 1,636 registrations, including 1,450 in-person attendees and 186 on-demand registrations.

Beyond registrations, the on-site interviews and event coverage created a valuable bank of authentic content featuring speakers and members of the veterinary community. This gave EVECC stories it could continue using to build trust, connection and anticipation long after the congress ended.
